  "After the Crash in 2008, we lost over 50% of our 401. The appraised value of our home dropped over 30% by mid 2009. Then in the Spring of 2010 my wife lost her job at a well-known Charlotte bank. Our combined incomes had been cut in half over the previous two years. We were totally stressed out all the time trying to figure it all out. We had too much debt and no real plan to address it. In 2013 I kept seeing RL’s posts on Face Book and his web site and that raised a lot of questions. When the stock market blew-up in 2008, we almost lost our home months later when my Aaron lost his job and we thought we were going to have to let it go.
